what i mean by this is you're making up a p4p list by judging other prospects out there and how good you think they can be and comparing them to the top p4p boxers at the present time and then putting them in a top 10 p4p list so for example, if i havn't made it clear enough, if you think timothy bradley or frankie gavin have the potential to be better than mayweather then you put them above floyd mayweather in the list (just an example) as i've started this thread i should make my own list up to start the ball rolling but im more interested in seeing others' contributions so thank you to the people who do have a crack, and also i know my depth of knowledge isn't as good as it could be so therefore i dont feel as inclined to make my own... but i know it will rack a lot of brains and is quite hard to formulate and could be interesting
You mean you think they have the potential to be better than prime Mayweather? This seems sort of arbitrary. P4P has a lot to do with moving between weight classes and who you've beaten/who they've beaten, so it's almost impossible to talk about for fighters like Bradley at this point, and especially for Gavin. My real top 10 list is: 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 3. Shane Mosley 4. Juan Manuel Marquez 5. Paul Williams 6. Chad Dawson 7. Wlad Klitschko 8. Hozumi Hasegawa 9. Nonito Donaire 10. Sergio Martinez with Ward, Dirrell, Abraham, Bute, Vitali, Haye, Caballero, Segura, Calderon, Juanma, Gamboa, Wonjongkam, Adamek, Bradley, Alexander, Valero (****ing idiot), Berto, Chris John, Darchinyan, and Humberto Soto all somewhere beneath. I can't be bother to sort em out yet.
