    Is Arguello the greatest Featherweight?

If not, does he make top 3? 5? 10?

I don't really do lists as hipster as that sounds. Guys with a reasonable argument to be above him:

    Willie Pep
    Henry Armstrong
    Sandy Saddler
    Freddie Miller
    Salvador Sanchez
    Eusebio Pedroza
    Kid Chocolate
    Abe Attell
    Johnny Kilbane
    Ernesto Marcel

Its a deep division. I left some guys out: Young Griffo, Jem Driscoll, Tony Canzoneri, Terry McGovern, George Dixon, Johnny Dundee.

TBH, I haven't researched him as much as I should.

I meant that I don't usually see him mentioned when talking about the greatest FW's.

    Excuse my ignorance.

Oh no problem Garrus, I thought you had researched him and were questioning the pick. He actually did quite a lot in a very short span: Gomez, Lopez x2, Nelson, LaPorte, Castillo, Castanon, Ford, Cowdell is a strong mix of worthy HOF guys and rated contenders he ran through at the time. A lot of people dismiss Nelson for being green... But he sure as **** didn't fight like it, and got recognition immediately thereafter.

I feel Arguello should rank higher at Lightweight than Feather. When doing historical rankings, generally I mesh the newer, in-between divisions back into the original 8. Arguello's best work was at 130, and I count that towards his all time placing at Lightweight.

His run at Feather is quality, but not guaranteeing of a top 10 spot in my eyes (though I'd have him there).
