Carlos Monzon or George St. Pierre

Who's better at their weight divisions?

    At their own sports?

    Broner better stay at 135.

My boy Lucas is too much.

    I'd pick Matthysse there, too.

Also, the earlier question? I'd say GSP.

I mean it not through hate but through honesty.

I like Broner, funny guy, always a good fight, much more aggressive than $ is nowadays while still showing great defense.

The fact that he doesn't forget to work in body blows is fantastic.

But Lucas is a machine. He will rule 140 with an Iron Fist.

 I don't think he's quite as good as you do, but I would honestly favor him. Fun fight though. Broner-Rios would be good, too.

Broner reminds me more of Toney than Floyd (wannabe persona aside).

He will sway you my friend.

When Garcia knocks out another geriatric this Jan and GBP makes the fight..

    He will sway you.

    Rios is of no concern.

Garrus I mean this in the nicest way possible but you sound like a supervillian from a 1960's comic book. In my head Basil Rathbone is reading those lines while staring at a frozen screenshot of Rios.

Reminded me of when Briscoe hit Monzon with that over hand right.

But like a true champion GSP took the kick and then won the rest of the rounds.

Good fight. See yea tomorrow ESB.

Silva will waste GSP with little hassle. They will be standing long enough don't you worry, unless GSP 'does a Chael' and molests Silva, because he ain't finishing him.

Broner impressed me, but not that much. Want him at 140 with Matthysse and Garcia fo' sure. Although Burns Vs Broner interests me too.

Well, they can't be so easily compared, but I do think GSP is more representative of what it is to be a mixed martial artist than Monzon was representative of what it is to be a boxer. He's also undeniably the GOAT in his division and one of the top 5 (3, maybe) P4P greats in his sport's history, though obviously, MMA's a young sport. A toddler compared to boxing.

    Silva-GSP lasts 2 rounds, tops.

I agree with Flea that Broner was impressive but nothing amazing. There's a lot of great fights to be made at 140, assuming he starts fighting there as well. Sucks that I didn't get to see Viloria-Marquez, but oh well...
