I think Hopkins looked bad against Dawson and the age finally caught him, I think his injury in the first fight took a lot of him.....
I think Cloud is too busy for him at this point.
I watch the Dawson fight and I can see a very faded old man who couldn´t throw punches anymore......
This is not the same Hopkins from 2 years ago.....not at all IMO.

Fair points Vic, but Cloud fights even less than Hop' and wasn't his last fight the 'win' against Campillo?

    Yeah, that was a robbery.
But Hopkins is what now, 50 years old ?? No way he can fight well with that age after an injury, apparently a serious injury.....

I think he's about 70 now, maybe ripe for a TRT exemption? :hey

I'm rooting for him. There's always something to be said for greatness no matter what the package. And Hopkins is unquestionably great.

Apparently so..Better my pics in one thread than many I guess.
    I agree, it's a shame..although I had B-Hop losing clearly against Dawson, he just didn't look like a B-Hop from a few years ago.

    Grandfather time for B-Hop :'(

I don't think Trout will win but we will see Canelo's faults (round sleeping, stamina issues, only bursts of punches, lack of prominent jab) brought to the fore here.

I agree with that. Rhodes was a decent win though, Rhodes was experienced, a solid Euro-level fighter and an awkward banger and he couldn't get anything going.

I do also think Canelo showed a lack of ideas at times, and the stoppage was an anti-climax to say the least.

I do think Canelo has a pretty solid chance at 'success' though. He's what, 168 in the ring? Watch him take the WBO middleweight title or summat then a bauble off some euro-level super middleweight titlist. All while not being particularly spectacular but ticking all the boxes to become the internet boxing forum's favourite fighter to suck off ad infinitum with nauseating hyperbole.
