I don't have a 'team' really, and I'm not a nationalist when it comes to fighting. In most other sports, yes, for example I always back the British cyclists (even though I have favourites of other nationalities)

I don't even really root for the Thai's more than anyone else. Just a fan of their fighters from yesteryear due to how interesting their backstories are and their (sometimes) unique stylistic application. Being a fan of their country and culture helps. I guess due to my Thai friends and whatnot I do root for them in other sports, mainly because they're **** at everything other than fighting and, as luf alluded to, are always the underdogs

Khan's chin seems to be worsening, was never great to begin with but **** me that Diaz fight was a horrible display of chin. He was getting ragdolled off punches that weren't big shots.

Spence could probably take Thurman now. Thurman is awful.

 

Spence did not impress me much in the Olympics, but that's maybe because I was really excited to see him on the big stage.

This U.S team was one of the worst I've ever seen. Rau'shee ******, never fails to amaze me in his mediocrity. I can only assume the comp' over the years in the U.S has been terrible, or ****** is just a big time choker. He looks dreadful, stylistically and in terms of his tools.

That.....Terrell Gausha was it?? (Might've just made that name up actually ) will be fun to watch if he carries his punch through the ranks.

 

Nah, he should've fought this guy in his first or second fight. If you're even a decent prospect, let alone an Olympian with hype, you should be blowing these guys away in your first two or three bouts no worries.

Spence did alright with him. As I'd expect for a man of his talents.

 

I´m a bit the opposite.....I support the brazilian fighters all the time (with a few exceptions) but I don´t really care for our national football team for instance.....
I think this is because our fighters (the boxing fighters especially) are not too hyped, I mean, we need more brazilian boxers in the international scene, so I´m always supporting them.

It´s funny, my desire to post in the Lounge is not the same without avatars, pictures and all...but I´m still interested in the Classic forum and in the other boxing sections in the same way, I think this problem will hurt the Lounge big time if it´s not fixed soon.....but I´m still alright to post in the Classic.
