At least Richard has stayed consistent in wanting to make the fight. I personally can't wait until Garcia is KO'ed and I'll bet everything on it that he does. I even felt that way before Peterson. He's a sitting duck, and it's going to be awesome to see the horror on Angel's face.

Mayweather needs to fight Alvarez and that's it. I want Garcia WIPED OUT as a potential opponent, brutally. They're going to do what they're going to do though.

All it does is prove everything said about him to be true. Schaefer seems almost arrogantly confident that Floyd is going to take the fight. If things weren't progressing I don't think he'd be harping so much on Garcia-Matthysse taking place. He said he already has a date reserved September 7th. Of course, he could always fall back but you'd think he'd at least leave some doubt right now if it doesn't shake out.

 

If we get Floyd-Canelo, Garcia-Matthysse and Golovkin-Martinez by next May ill be delighted. That would sort out the main men in a few divisions.
