why should he be higher than 4 the top two guys have better wins and no crap loses and bj penn is a weight class lower and is about a 50/50 in a fight with gsp.

Agree totally that gsp has beaten the better opposition on a more consistent basis than silva or fedor.

Hughes wasn't a crap loss, avenged twice.Serra was just a freak loss that was also avenged emphatically. The Fitch performance was blinding against a guy who was unbeaten in 16 fights or something and with wins over Sanchez,Burkmann,Alves and Wilson.

if fedor beats aa in his next fight i think you can't really comment on his opposition as he will have beaten every decent heavyweight bar barnett then who he will prob fight after aa. I would also say dan henderson is better than anyone gsp has beat as he was a 185/205 champ, gsp did beat bj but an unfit 155 pound guy isn't the same as beating henderson.

Isn't Matt Hughes an absolute legend at welterweight. Not on the same level as Henderson.

not really he was a legend from being the best ww for years, the fact that the he was on the slide when gsp beat him and the fact that hughes never improved his game to the level of someone like henderson means it isn't the same. Hughes would most likely have lost to penn again if penn didn't injure his rib which would have left him with 1 victory in his last 5 fights instead of 2. If gsp had beaten hughes when they first matched up i would have classed that as a bigger win.
