97-93 for Ward - about the same as the judges and by far the majority of the press row. Anyone having it a shut-out is just showing their bias - and it is not surprising if the 10-15 most biased people would assemble on ESB - after all that is what ESB is known for.

So given that the ref allowed Ward's dirty tactics, Ward won. That doesn't mean we have to condone headbutting and hitting while holding in boxing.

 

"its early" and "Kessler is getting closer" isn't what I would call giving him props. If anything it implies that he's not landing at all but that he might possibly land in another round.

Im still in shock.

I didnt think ward was a bum or anything but i didnt excpect that.

And yes, ward did headbutt the **** out of kessler. I dont think all were intentional but some were borderline intentional. Props to ward for being classy about it at the interview when asked about the headbutts.

Im pretty sure ward is gonna win this tourney. if not ward, abraham is my second pick.

Yes, it was great indeed. Too bad the naysayers, detractors, and those who were just plain wrong are looking for any sort of excuse or angle to knock Ward. It's quite pitiful but expected, thus general.

I thought Ward would win but by a close decision. We were all pretty much shocked and wrong (Danny got it bang on right I must admit). It was great to see, I really enjoyed the fight. I hope Ward shakes things up and wins this tournament. That would be sweet.
