Canelo 2, 4 & 9. On re-watch, think I should have been 'Nelo 3 & 4 instead. Doesn't matter in the end, you get to 117-111 either way.
117-111 Bivol. Round 5 could be counted as a 10-8 round for Bivol. He landed a series of 6-8 unanswered punches when the Roid fiend was on the ropes. yes, Clen- Man played unfazed and weakly motioned Bivol in for more, but so did Mayorga everytime he got beaten up.
In re watching rounds 1 to 4 Bivol wasn't landing flush like he was in rounds 5 to 12. Neither was Canelo. Canelo threw a few hard shots that may have seemed to have landed cleaner. I watched a replay on u tube that showed a higher angle than the original TV version. I still think Canelo gets star treatment.
117-111 Bivol. Rounds 1, 4, and 9 to Canelo. Only round that clearly belonged to Alvarez was round 9, but I thought he shaded the other two by landing a couple of eye catching uppercuts in those frames. Could easily have called round 1 and 4 even. Either way, it was pretty clearly Bivol's fight, imo.
117-111 bivol Canelo got 1,2,9 I havent rewatched it yet but i felt guilty scoring 1 and 2 to Canelo I think 9 was the easiest round to score for Canelo Im ok with anything from 117-111 to 119-109
Two of the judges had Bivol only scrapping by Craig Richards by a single round too even though the fight wasn't remotely close. Richards, like Clenelo, won 2-3 rounds tops. Bivol always either completely schools his opponents and wins via shutout or wins wide and only gives away one to three rounds or no more than four if you want to be generous to his opponent.
