Even though I have never really followed this divison too well.. I think Mormeck should be number one... dude owned that division for a minute
Its a pretty daft list when I look at them fighters, but then I think whos better and it adds up to be a decent list :rofl I didnt realise actually, he had 7 fights at Cruiser but thats not much and hes considered a great cruiser !
How about a game of who should trade places 1 Evander Holyfield 2 Carlos De Leon 3 Johnny Nelson 4 David Haye 5 Anaclet Wamba 6 Juan Carlos Gomez 7 ONeil Bell 8 Guillermo Jones 9 Al Cole 10 James Toney 11 Jean Marc Mormeck 12 Vassiliy Jirov 13 Virgil Hill 14 Jeff Lampkin 15 Dwight Qawi 16 Orlin Norris 17 Magne Havnaa 18 Nate Miller 19 Ralf Rocchigiani 20 Carl Thompson Which 2 guys would you swap to make this a better list if you could only swap 2 fighters - the reason why would be nice to know also :happy
1. Rocky Marciano 2. Archie Moore 3. Jack Dempsey 4. Gene Tunney 5. Evander Holyfield 6. Floyd Patterson 7. Jersey Joe Walcott 8. Jimmy Ellis etc
How in the world do you have Haye 4 and Adamek not the top 20. You do realize that victories over Cunningham, Bell and Banks are at least as good as wins over Enzo, Mormeck or Fragomenni. Where are Enzo and Mormeck now? Enzo was exposed as a very average fighter period. Bottom line is Adamek is level with Haye in terms of CW resume and he accomplished this in a much shorter period of time, without having to lose to weaker opposition (like Carl Thompson) in the process. BTW., how in the world do you not have Cunningham in the top 20 either. He´s the only guy who has hung around consistently on top of the Cruisers for many years now.
