By "as legit as any prospect in boxing", I don't mean anything in terms of 154. I mean boxing as a whole...as in he'd be boxing's #1 Prospect without question.

Dzinziruk is pretty much the worst style imaginable for Kirkland. Everything he does should trouble Kirkland. If he manages to beat Dzinziruk, it's pretty much the gateway to super stardom for James.

Bring there Vitaly against, say, Kevin Johnson and Wladimir against Arreola and you'll have Ukraine against USA match-up. I'll go with Ukraine here...

No, no,...just wait for May 2 rematch of Moreno vs. Sidorenko...if Sidorenko wins, he could represent Bantamweight for the Ukraine... :hi:

it's hard to say with people moving up and down. PW is an interim beltholder at the weight. All I can say is, no, he would not be clear #1. He's good, though.

this is a solid card, I don't think it's amazing, though. It's not like an all time great BAD card if it comes off. Really stiff tests for the Americans, though. Potentially, both can be humbled. I would say Ortiz is the safer bet out of the 2 Americans to win.

P-Will doesn't matter as he's jumping around the weight-classes...but who's better than that? Dzinziruk beat Santos, Forrest got beat by Mora inbetween...so who's better than the Ukrainian??

Damn. That would be an insane card if it materializes.

Ortiz vs. Kotelnik would be a hell of a fight. Kotelnik just may have the best chin at 140. So I'm sure he'd give Ortiz some trouble with his toughness, defense, and counter punching. Fight could easily go either way.

Dzinziruk vs. Kirkland is an interesting clash of styles. Sergiy on paper, is the last type of opponent you would think Kirkland would be matched with. I'd favor Dziniruk to outbox and decision James close, but clearly. Kirkland has been surprising me lately, though. I thought Julio would beat him and expected Eromosele Albert to give him some trouble, but he blazed right through those cats with little to problem.

Then, I guess, he's trying to go for the vacant IBF belt against K9...a fight, I see him winning via mid-round KO...

Forrest is probably his main competition based on resume. But the division has been weak and now is becoming loaded. It's hard to say. But to say PW doesnt matter, does not do him justice. Pacman doesnt have a weight class this minute. He's P4P #1 but is he the best in any division right now?

Lattimore is fighting Spinks for the vacant IBF belt. Golden Boy should put Kirkland in their with either Quintana or Joe Greene next. If he can beat Quintana impressively, they should push for a title shot early next year.
