Gary Russell Jr vs Shakur Stevenson id give shakur a few more fights as hes young and id definitely like to see this one. Gary had some success against Lomachenko and Stevenson is the face of american smaller man boxing. Both extremely Talented, and what i like about this fight, it could be two of the sharpest shooters in a ring at the same time for a long while. Who you got, if it did happen?
Fight most likely doesn’t happen, even if pbc wasn’t involved you just don’t know with Gary, I’ve been following him for a while and I really don’t know what he wants out of his career
The chances are slim but I would like to see this one. Two exciting skilled boxers. GRJ is talented but he doesn’t fight nearly enough. At this stage, I would favor Stevenson but would be rooting for the older guy because it’s my tradition.
Have to go with the horse-tooth leprechaun GRJ here. I've never been all that impressed with Shakur to be honest. Even when he and his welterweight beau beat up that dude and those two girls in the carpark he didn't impress me. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of him but in the fights I have seen of his I've been a bit underwhelmed. That being said, Shakur looks absolutely freaking huge for the weight though. I've seen videos of him standing alongside numerous welters and he looked damn near the same size as them, both width and height wise, or pretty darn close if not quite the same.
