Chavez is an HBO fighter so if on HBO yes, since I subscribe to that channel.Froch not a big enough name in the US to headline a PPV,in my opinion.

    My thoughts on this.

Chavez Junior looked terrible at a higher weight and should of lost to Vera and no guarantee he wins rematch which would massively damage selling this fight

If Jr is slated to fight Froch, Vera isn't going to win a decision in the fight no matter how clearly he beats Jr. And while not impossible, it's unlikely that Vera stops Jr.

I'm ok with the fight just because I'm somewhat keeping faith that Froch will either take a bigger fight(Groves rematch, Ward, GGG, etc) afterwards or retire.

What? **** off! And Chavez Jr (plod forward, no footwork, no head movement, left hook only, steroid eating ****er) is a PPV attraction ????

    GTFOH :deal :hi:

Froch is an accomplished, multiple world champion

Whether you like it or not Chavez is much bigger here than Froch will ever be.I think Froch has enough on his plate after the Groves debacle to think about. How about Carl cleaning up his domestic scene before tackling Chavez?:hi:

Class fight and I could understand Carl for taking it over Groves. Probably less risk and more money...

Do we even know if Arum is interested in feeding Chavez to Froch. What's in it for them?

They could go the WBC route and face Bika/Degale/Jack. Or face Ward

I won't pay for it on principle. Usually I don't begrudge any fighter doing something 'for the money'. If the fight is good, then so what?

But on this one I feel a bit different. Carl is at the arse end of a good career and talked a good fight with Groves. Groves was a bum who didn't deserve his shot etc etc. Carl was a warrior in a different league etc etc.

But it didn't happen that way and Carl picked up an unexpected hiding and the stoppage was a borderline gift.

Now... if I were Froch I would do the exact...same...thing...as....Froch. I'd go and fight Chavez for less money in the states.

However I am not Froch. I am me. A paying fan. Why short change myself by lining Frochs pockets in those circumstances?

So I will watch the fight on YouTube the next day and pay nothing.

A fully focused Chavez Jr beats Froch for me, unfortunately he's a bit too much of headcase to bet on.
