Hatton was the top dog at 140 though. For a few years.
His only loss at 140 was to prime Pacquiao.

 

I thought Cotto and Mayweather were better at 140. Quite significantly.

 

Zoo had fought 5x in 4 years, once in 18 months. It wasn't the Zoo who fought Angel Hernandez in 94.

Ricky pretty much knocked himself out against Floyd and Manny, seriously. Jumping in head first, and, walking in at perfect angle with chin exposed.

 

Sadly, he doesn't take the gig seriously, does no homework, half-asses it and picks up a cheque. If it was something he approached with a passion, he could do a good job.

 

I'm normally on the other side for Naz debates, but he's way too low at #7. Johnson, Kelley, Bungu, Medina, Vazquez, McCullough etc is way beyond what the vast majority of British fighters in the modern era have achieved. Yes, he got most of them at the right time and got spanked by Barrera, but he cleaned out a division and dominated it for years, and only ever lost to a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Lewis should be above Calzaghe. Haye is too high, and McKenzie shouldn't be top 10. Moving across divisions a few pounds apart with a WLWL career at world class doesn't compare to what some others like Froch achieved. McKenzie did for triple champions what Leo Gamez did for quadruple champions a few years later.

Hatton was arrogant and dillusional, couldn't accept he wasn't good enough to beat Mayweather and entered the ring Vs pac truly beliving being "fooking massive at 140" would get him the win.
