There are so many potential boxing matches running through my head that are probably never gonna happen (and a few that are) that I wanted to write a list of predictions. I'm just spouting off in random order so please don't think I'm just trying to hate on fighters. I love all these fighters except Margarito (never liked him...hate him since the wraps) Obvious Outcomes (to me): Pac beats Cotto (too fast and explosive) Floyd beats Cotto (too accurate and elusive) Floyd beats Pac (too skilled defensively) Floyd beats Jmm (too fast, too skilled) Shane beats Cotto in rematch (Nazim!) Williams beats Shane (workrate and stamina) Williams beats Cotto (workrate and stamina) Cotto beats Margarito in rematch (no wraps this time) Floyd beats Shane (speed and accuracy) Tossups with guesses: Floyd v Williams (I think Floyd is the only guy that can figure Paul out at WW but I could see a Williams UD if Floyd had an off night) Shane v Pac @ 147 (I think PAC wins unless Shane KO's him but I'm am not confident in this prediction. At 140 Shane is gunshy and Pac wins) Pavlik v Williams (maybe i'm crazy but I think Paul can throw enough punches from enough angles to frustrate Kelly and win a UD when Pavlik fails to adapt. Or Pavlik knocks him out cold, but Pauls chin seems good...) People will surely say that I am such a Floyd/Williams nutthugger that picking a winner between the must've been the hardest thing I've ever tried to do! But honestly, I love all of these fighters (Margarito aside) and this is just how each fight plays out to me.
Not sure about Cotto-Pac yet Floyd over Cotto Floyd over Pac Floyd over JMM Shane over Cotto Williams over Shane Williams over Cotto Cotto over Margo Floyd over Shane Williams over Floyd Shane over Pac Pavlik over Williams Those are my picks. I could see Shane and Pac beating Floyd if he's slipped over the past 2 years. The most obvious outcome to me is Williams over Cotto. That could get ugly for miguel real quick.
Thought I made it clear: I'm not looking for the hate! But I do feel that Cotto isn't as feirce or conident as he used to be. He seems sort of timid since the Margo fight. And as much as I feel bad for him having to take a beating from that peice of **** cheater Margarito, he did take that beating and it has made him look very beatable to me ever since.
