I've heard Roach and Nazim have auditioned but who else? I know a lot of people think Paulie would be great. I do too but doubt he would get the chance. Listening to an old FNF I heard Ray Mancini. They should seriously think of getting him. He's got a great voice, and is very knowledgeable about styles and boxing. I think he could make a great commentator. It would take him some time to warm into the role as he doesn't like to take the spotlight or anything. He's class though.

What are the other candadites? Can't be just Roach/Nazim?

I'd like to see another (past) elite level boxer in there. Sometimes Lewis was the only one offering legitimate insight as to what was going on in the ring.

You don't need a superstar. Someone like Mancini knows enough and he was great on some of the calls he did with Joe Tessitore back in the 90's.

Mosley is too much of a mushmouth.

What about Ricky Fatton? He'd be good for some comedic relief!

Don't we have enough of that with Merchant? And even Lennox at times.

George Chuvalo; won't happen, but that would be my first choice.

Another solid choice. And although he's an excellent shape he's also getting older. Chuvalo would be great though.

Honestly i say Tyson, he was a guest commentator on a smaller orgs fight card a while back and not only is he surprisingly articulate but the man knows his boxing history.

It's not happening considering his lack of effort in making meetings and doing the preparation. Some people need to stop saying this and get this out of their heads.

    They should suck it up.

What does he need to go to a meeting for to commentate on a fight?
