With all the world title fights coming up this weekend, and with Degale winning last Saturday, there are more and more Brits becoming world champion. So out of the current Matchroom stable, who do you think can achieve the dream of becoming a world champion.

I have left out the more obvious guys, AJ, Campbell and so on, also have left out Selby as he is a big favourite this weekend.

Forgot about that however I think everyone will believe that someone within the stable will become champion. I am just going on bookies odds there, at 2/5 he is a very strong favourite and I see him doing a job on Gradovich myself.

I did think Bradley Saunders before he signed with Matchroom. If he gets back to the more relaxed style and doesn't go looking for the knockout all the time I think he'll be on his way.

Glad you included Ohara Davies in that aswell, he is a serious talent. I also think Jack Catterall and Liam Walsh can be world champions.

Fair enough, every thread that is similar to this has AJ, Campbell and Smith etc, so I thought I would throw a few new names in and see what people thought. Agree on Campbell though

Yep agreed. He is our best prospect and people don't realise it.

Okay that's why I added the other, so people could go back to the top guys. Fair enough it is a big step up for Selby, I personally believe he will make a huge statement on Saturday that will have everyone impressed.

I can almost guarantee you Mitchell Smith will never be a world champion.

UK prospects? Global prospects of course but would be interested to hear some UK ones, if that is what you meant.

Yes, I thought you meant that were already pro. I am 100% confident he will sign Fowler, and Selby there is a strong possibility too, Joyce he might avoid due to age and I know there was a thread the other day about him not signing Irish talent so hopefully he bucks that trend.

People won't agree but I actually think Scotty Cardle has the ability to go all the way.

Euro level for me, good fighter but I am not sure he has the skill set their to make up for the lack of power.
