I was around at the time (early teens) and remember both fights/incidents. In the case of Duran, wasnt Ray Arcel his cornerman that night? Anyway, i remember watching it (either on 'World of Sport' or 'Midweek Sports Special'-anybody remember them?) thinking that a first round thumb in the eye from 'El Cholo' didnt help Moore's case at all, and it was all Duran from there, but ive no reason to believe his gloves were loaded.
