Tommy Morrison had a pretty good winning streak with a glass jaw, until Mercer exposed in him 93 with a brutal attack that should warrant assualt charges, Haseem Rahman did pretty well for himself, while having a glass jaw himself, knocking Lewis out with one punch, as well being competitive with the likes of Toney, Tua, and Sanders.

Wlad does have a glass jaw, his excessive clinching and numerous panic attacks seem to keep him alive most of the time when faced with a big puncher (Sam Peter). I feel Wlad's defensive has alot to do with it as well, it's rare we even see Wlad's chin tested anymore, and correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time I seen Wlad hit with a decent punch was against Peter in September of 05, and we all know about his famous reactions in that fight. It's only a matter of time before he's tested again, the last couple fighters he fought were pretty far from dangerous.

morrison was fighting cans. he would lose to a solid fighter and fight 15 nobodies only to get KTFO by the next solid guy. how many defenses of his wbo did he make? o yeah...Zero...wlad has 10 successful title defenses and is dominating top 10 guy after another. u never saw that consistency with either morrison or rahman.

he will ko povetkin next then valuev. then we will see if u give him his credit. wlad hasn't been down in how long? seven fights...either his chin isn't as bad as u think or his defense is excellent. ohh wait, he's just fighting bums and setups.

No Roy Jones? there is plenty of love for Roy on these forums. The way he stood away from a fat, slow and shot Tito early in the fight while utilizing the shell Guard as if Tito were George foreman in 1974 should tell you all you need to know about the grade of China in the Jones chin

the man has been put to deep sleep, we are talking Snow white Coma boys.

as much as thats a bit of hater spiel i got to agree a weak chin isnt the end all.
refer to my post on the other page. all the guys had ways roudn it and used aggression, speed and just abilty to get out of the way of a punch so it woudlnt hinder them.

Fair enough with the Morrison arguement, though he did stand his ground against a big puncher in Ruddick, and managed to stay vertical enough to get the knockout in the end, by going punch for punch with a extremely powerful fighter, something Wlad cant or will not do, at least Morrison was able to go toe to toe with his oppenents, Wlad has yet to prove he can.

Thats take a look at Wlad last 7, after Peter he fought Bryd in April of 06, no real danger there, then Brock in November I believe, the fight I turned down sex to watch the fight live instead, Brock has average power, many people jumped on the train after his vicious knockout of Zuri Lawrence, yet under quick review of his resume, it appears he's been knocked out by anyone worth a ****. Then Wlad fought one-eyed Brewster in July of 07, Brewster had nothing that night and bacame a walking punching bag, Feb of 08 he fought Iggy, in one of the worst Heavyweight championship fights I have ever seen, with both men being terrified of getting hit. July of 08, Wlad fought Thompson, a easy target to say the least, the mans resume is terrible and his skills are no better, the highlight of the fight was Wlad getting cut or the knockout that was pretty much a give-up by Thompson.

Wlad's fight against Povetkin should be his toughest test since Peter, thats just hope it's enertaining.

Obvious Paki hater, guy is no more no less a scrub than the average import yet this guy actually has potential. Hater! cause the guy is young and getting paid. Hey Greensleeves! you guys should be hyping and exaggerating anything this guys does why not? You do it for everyone else I know why, I see the trend.

seems like your ripping his opponents to shreds even though they were all legit top 10 guys when wlad faced him. i could do a lot worse to peter but i give him his credit as the #2 guy and label him as a solid contender.

wlad's resume is far better than anyone's else active in the division. not only that, he has dominated his opponents something none of the others can do on a consistent basis. u can say they suck or whatever but the man gets the job done and wins usually by ko. at some pt. he has to get credit. if he rattles off ten more wins off top guys, r people gonna keep saying the same thing? answer: yes. because they are haters

Kobe is God, your are probably my favorite poster out of the Wlad nuthuggers/fans, at least you acknowledge Wlad's faults to an extent.

I will always feel Wlad's one punch away from becoming a knockout victim to a journymen or some half assed Heavyweight challenger. His chin is glass, and when tested, it fails everytime. Yes, part of a good chin is defense, and he has improved greatly under the watchful eye of Steward for the last 4 and a half years, since Peter have really seen the chin tested? The answer is no, Peter tested it and he hit the canvas 3 times and turned his back to his oppenent, and panicked numerous times, and excessively clinched his way to victory.

If Wlad beats Povetkin, Valuev, and Peter again, I will have no choice, tip my hat to him, until then, I plan on continuing my hate for Wlad on ESB and also on youtube.

Me and Fourty are friends, the man has some insane memorabilia, he even sent me a Sam Peter autographed card a few months back free of charge. I feel fourty is the bigger nuthugger, and is probably more passionate about Peter and his fights than I am, though I think have a little more knowledge when it comes to stats and breaking down who Peter is as a fighter. I just hope you will still be around after Peter lays out Vitali for all to see.:yep

lol. i agree with your analysis. he's a maniac fan (similar to the Hayematrix's flock) challenging posters to lifetime bets  even though i do the same. i agree, your technical knowledge is a bit more advanced than 40's. you back up your statements with good analysis. 40 just likes to make a statement and accept it as fact :nut

and even if vitali loses, i will be around. only when my boy wlad loses will i 'cut and run' :yep

Thats good to know Kobe, your one of the few Wlad nuthuggers I like. I think Fourty goes overboard a bit, but he means well, and never gave up on Peter and as you could see by most of his threads, he's the true meaning of a diehard fan and just the type of people boxing needs.

So you would really leave ESB if Wlad loses?
