Pound-for-Pound, Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter since Pernell Whitaker.

Saying Hopkins wasn't green is stupid. Because he had only completed one full 12 round fight by then. And because he was a different fighter then. I have Hopkins's career set, and he had not found his own style by then, he was not the defensive specialist that he became in the 2000s, he was a tough but rather nondescript up and coming fighter. To compare that version of Hopkins with a prime Barrera or prime Marquez is completely unjustifiable.

the fact that he hasnt had that much experience beforehand?

Floyd would go on to outclass 35 of his next opponents...does that mean he was a veteran by his 5th fight? stupid logic.

Roy Jones Jr ..I have yet to see Manny throw a 6 punch combo or 4 left hooks with one hand ..Though he 's not too far behind .

:lol::lol: As usual, you are utterly delusional yourself.

Griffin and Jones were level at the time of the DQ.

Marquez taught Pac a boxing lesson?? Completely ******ed. Anyone who doesn't think that both of those fights were close as hell is twisted with hatred. Oh wait, who am I talking to......

Yes, Roy throwing 4 left hooks with one hand is much more important than Manny Pacquiao having a stronger resume across his prime years, when it comes to deciding who is higher p4p.

    Pernell was superior to Roy.

I think to take away from Jones' win over Hopkins is off personally. I'm not into the green thing, he beat Bernard Hopkins at middleweight. Hopkins is one of the great middleweights in history, i rate the win regardless of timing, which is actually getting blown out of proportion here.

P4P RJJ outboxes Pac for a few rounds before Pac lands a big one and Roy would be laid out ala Tarver & Johnson. If anyone could land on Roy in his prime, it be someone like Pac who is possibly as fast and powerful p4p. Maybe not as fast but definitely fast enough to catch him over 12.
