Thanks for posting a list. Get back to me on your 60 if you ever get it.

You've got to love this sport. You must think I'm crazy where I place Mares, Peterson, and Khan! That's hilarious dude... I really like your list and other than those which we totally disagree on, ours are very similar through the top 18. If you ever want to have a discussion about something I'm game.

Respect. There is certainly contradictory angles of everything that we all see and value differently.

    Do you care to elaborate?

I have Garcia 95 and Broner 65. Considering it's a top 100 list, I would say those would be two examples of guys we relatively agree on.

I was expecting an answer like: "you value certain divisions too much" or "you don't value a certain nationality of fighter" or something.

Great work. Look forward to your updates. We need more posters here like you who really study and know the sport.

Do you see Garry Russell Jr. Austin Trout or Mike Jones making it onto your list anytime soon?

Russell at this point is pure prospect and great talent, but his resume would need someone to showcase that talent and justify him being up there. edit: Basically, he needs to actually beat a guy. Once he does though, with his skill set that he shows, he would elevate quickly.

Austin Trout is on the list, at #90.

I also have a list of "the next 20-30" which is in a rough order, and Jones is just short of missing the cut. Depending on what he does with Bailey, you might see him up here in the high 80s-90s by mid June.

    Good stuff. Thanks!

I am currently and have been for the past month, since a long vacation, revising the list and will make big changes (whereas since I first posted the list, I only raised or dropped fighters when they actually fought or for inactivity). I want to make sure I compile a list which I will not be questioning a certain caliber of fighters rankings, as consistency is what I preach, if not to others than to myself.

I would like to take this moment to say: EVERYONE WHO VEHEMENTLY HATED ON ME FOR RANKING KHAN TOO LOW AFTER THE PETERSON LOSS, DO YOU SEE HOW THINGS ARE NOT SO OBVIOUS AND BLACK/WHITE?????

Good list, and a very hard one to do I imagine, so well done.

A few things I noticed: I would have Danny Garcia higher: undefeated Ring Magazine Light Welterweight champion. Lamont Peterson at 60 places ahead of him is a bit much in my book.

Also, Carl Froch 8 places below Bute? IMO Froch should be higher than him. I might have others different but they are the main two things that I would recommend you look at.

EDIT: Just realised it hasn't been fully updated, I just saw that this thread was started months ago. I'm sure you will have Garcia higher when you look at it again. Good list :)
