I like that Rosenthal put Ward up there at #4.

 

Fischer's list is the best list I'ven seen from a professional writer in some time. Vitali's too high but should nevertheless be there above comparatively unproven fighters like Ward and JuanMa. Nice to see Montiel and Adamek get some well-deserved recognition too. Montiel could even be placed higher I feel.

Williams at #3 is a joke. If he beats Martinez he might crack the top five in lack of better names, but only then. He has nothing on May, Pac, JMM and Volodomyr right now.

Bradley shouldn't be on there at all. He's had a good run of C- names but I don't think his accomplishments are that good yet. H2H he falls short too but that's opinion.

Fischer and it's not close. Rosenthal has Ward (wtf?) on his and Sergio Martinez WAY too high. Ward isn't even the best fighter in his own division and Sergio is the most overrated fighter I've ever seen.

Fischer is a lil' weeny, but he knows his stuff better than most. I just get annoyed seeing Montiel on the list and could do without Vitali (although i can see that argument, the Klistschko's should get their due).

I'd prefer to see Timothy Bradley and Andre Ward on the list, or maybe Juanma.

 

Ditto. The guy he always used to include who seemed really out of place to me was Edwin Valero, especially since he's always claimed that quality of competition weighs heavily in his rankings.

 

Why? The guy has over the last decade gone 17-2 in world title fights in three weight classes, defeated nine champions and is coming off his biggest win against Hasegawa this year, unifying in his third championship weight class. Why wouldn't he be on the list? And he hasn't lost in four years.

 

Because Andre Ward beat Kessler and Green, and Juanma beat Concepcion, which pisses all over what Montiel has.

That happens to me a lot but people are generally so ****ing dumb that if you don't know a poster, the assumption is they're morons not sarcastic. You almost can't lay it on thick enough.

 

There was a great one earlier today, in a Sultan Ibragimov thread. A guy asked for 40 fighters that could beat Derek Chisora(dont ask how it ended up there) and I listed two Flyweights, a Light-Welter and a guy whose record was 0-20, and he called me an idiot because I had Sam Sexton thereatsch
