It makes the most sense with GGG at this point . I mean think about it sanchez thrown that they want Rob Brant . Top Rank has no other middleweight contenders that are dangerous -GGG after beating Rob Brant GGG will give Ryota Murata a shot at the belt fight Murata in Japan collect a huge pay check murata is a star in japan. GGG will do this all of 2019 and in 2020 Persue canelo once more the netwoEspn and dazn will work together . Arum is going to try to pair ggg with Gilbert Ramirez. I think ggg will pass this fight up. Espn makes the most sense for at this point in his career. Its quiet it's safe no other top dangerous middleweights can make trilogy with canelo can make guaranteed pay checks for fighting bums like crawford (Crawford has a 3 million gurantee in his contract ) the only threat i see is Ramirez not unless arum is willing to throw ggg 20 million minimum ggg won't take it .pac wanted 20 mil for crawford and Bradley ggg wants to get paid he'll fight a dangerous opponent If you pay him " money talks "
The ESPN route makes sense because Golovkin wants to take the path of least resistance. Going to Dazn is the best route to a 3rd Canelo fight but that means he'll have to fight decent guys beforehand and we all know he only likes to fight either cans or midgets with no hurting power like Canelo , so its probably a given he goes to Arum who will supply him with a years worth of bum fights.
If he doesn't sign with DAZN I probably won't bother watching another one of his fight. Not as a hater, but all the good middleweights are there, ESPN only has Murata and Brant, and PBC Charlo...
Why is ESPN better for him than DAZN. Did DAZN present him with a decent offer, do we know any details? Would suck if the 3rd fight won't happen because of network issues.
Screw ESPN+. I had a subscription for the Spence fight and they had the fight running the wrong night so I missed the bout. Canceled it the next day.
$4.99. I'm not paying for it...probably a good deal but realistically there is nothing else on ESPN+ that I was interested in.
My point is that if Golovkin signs with ESPN it doesn't mean he would fight on ESPN+ exclusively. Quite the opposite. And you could just pay $4.99 for the specific month and then cancel the subscription.
GGG needs to retire now. If he failed to stop canelo in 24 rounds he will be beaten by someone who couldn't hold his jock strap a few years ago.
