Compare the more flush left hook he took from AJ and managed to stay on his feet to the left hooks Whyte dropped him with. Although he wasn’t too hurt from Whyte’s knock downs his legs and punch resistance seem to have went downhill the last couple years. He would have laughed off Whyte’s shots only a few years ago.

This says a lot about Hunter power as well tbh. Wasn’t able to drop Povetkin once despite landing his best and most flush shots.

I mean, at 41, these things happen, but since he is coming off his best win in years, over was the #3-5 heavyweight, depending on who you ask, let's give him the benefit of the doubt for at least one more fight.

It's apparent that he's been winding down for a few years now. I just love the way he keeps taking my doubts and tossing them into the trash can.

He is a tough old fighter who always had a solid chin. I believe AJ finally cracked his chin I said this before the fight with Whyte.

But still he destroys younger boxers like Price, Whyte, Hughie Fury.
And the new uprising Hunter couldn't defeat him either.

Age is just a number. Povetkin is better than ever, more experienced, new training methods, inner fire reawakened. Whyte prepared for the best Povetkin and got that. Whyte showed his bravery taking on a hungry lion and did extremely well to make it such a close fight and even take the lead before Povetkin landed the kind of shot that would KO a horse. Whyte is showing his epic courage taking on Povetkin again when he doesn't have to, but just wants to give the fans the best fights. Also, AJ took on an even better Povetkin, so it just shows how brave he is, especially straight after Povetkin landed a shot on Price that would have KO'd a bull.

Whyte and AJ, super brave heroes always taking on all comers, never having advantages, growing up in the tough conditions of liberal England. People just want to discredit them. Haters with agendas.

Hunter was never a big puncher for HW standards. He landed like 20 punches in a row flush on Bakole and didn't drop him. Hunter can catch you with his speed and timing and if you don't see that coming he can hurt you but overall you can see he's a former CW, he's simply not a heavy hitter against the 250+ guys out there.

His legs look completely gone in his recent fights. He also has punch resistance issues in the first 4-5 rounds of a fight as proven vs Whyte and Hunter.

But he still has a decent engine on him and comes on strong in the later rounds. He also has a left uppercut and left hook that will clean any HW out if landed clean.
