When said fighter has been talking mad ish about everyone, presenting himself as the magical boogeyman no one wants to fight (despite his history of not taking big fights when offered) and laughed at someone else getting knocked out to the point of it becoming a meme?

Yeah, it's pretty freaking hysterical.

He wouldn’t’ve ever laughed off that second knockdown punch, that would’ve dropped him at any point in his career if it landed

In his last 5 fights, Povetkin's been clipped 4 times (Price, Joshua, Hunter, Whyte) and lost only to AJ. His chin is not the best anymore due to age I guess, but he can compensate this with his style and power in both hands as we've seen against Whyte. I wouldn't call his chin cracked though.

What confuses me the most is Povetkin's legs and stamina. They seem to go up and down depending on who he fights. He seemed out of breath after 5 rounds with Price, then was quite in good shape for Joshua, went 12 rounds chasing Fury and drawing with Hunter, but seemed to tire quickly against Whyte. Maybe it was the body punches.

Povetkin's legs are weird, he seems to limp slightly back to the corner even after round 1 of his fights, maybe it's because he bends over often to load his hooks and he puts too much pressure on the legs.

(P.S.: I think in 2017 Povetkin would have beaten both, Joshua and Klitschko on the night they fought. But destiny wanted that he never won a big belt.)

Colour me shocked - another RB1702 thread designed to rim his fantasy boyfriend "AJ".

Whyte's the lucky one. That could have been a Wilder right hand that hit him. Wilder would have finally gotten his wish for a body on his record.

Ooops, sorry sweetie. I know you asked me not to quote you again, but my fingers slipped from laughing at Dillian Whyte flopping on the floor like a fish after talking so much ****. That's what we do when people lose, right?

It's his age and miles on the clock.

Povetkin has had a hard route and tough resume - plus he's one tough mofo which means even at 41 he can still turn your lights out.

Resistance has gone - maybe, more than likely it's going.

But don't disregard the guy, he's as tough as nails.

I wouldn’t say his punch resistance is gone it’s just that he is eating way to many clean solid punches in every fight. The accumulation eventually catches up to him in the later rnds.

Doesn’t matter. Povetkin still has a better Chin than Glass Jawed Whyte and is going to savagely KO him in the rematch.

    Yes, I do.

Now tell me how anything I wrote was inaccurate? Just because you feel a certain way, doesn't invalidate anything I said.

Hunter stood up to everything Povetkin landed and flush, some of the shots were full force and had everyone ounce of force Povetkin could muster behind them. HUnter stood up to his best shots, Whyte did not. As far as the comment about the KD's. Wach dropped Szpilka, Chisora did not drop Szpilka, are you telling me that Wach had him in worse shape?

I'm not laughing at the fighter for being KO'd numbnuts, I'm laughing at all of the Whyte fanboys who screamed from the rooftops what a badass Whyte was and how he'd march through the division like a battering ram, KOing Fury and Wilder left and right, and that he was sooooo much better than Hunter. Well.... Povetkin's shot that would have KO'd ANYONE!!!!!! probably wouldn't have KO'd anyone. It KO'd Whyte, because he's a fat glass jawed subpar fighter like I've said he was for years. Whyte fanboys hid behind bad decision after bad decision, and countless times in which Whyte was all over the place after being rocked by average punchers like Wach, deluding themselves, well... reality bites doesn't it?

That being said, Whyte, who's a long time pompous ass and braggart, got exactly what he deserved, and taught a lesson that he was far from the invisible beast he and his fans made him out to be. And let's be honest... the KO itself was ****ing hilarious looking.
