Povetkin, Bradley v Holt - great, but what about the Valero show?

Some may say I am ungrateful having the above shows on TV Saturday night, but I ask how much really would the British TV rights cost for the Valero show?

The promoters would have earnt what than the fat zero they are getting at the moment.

Boxing to me is on a wide screen TV, not on a lap top with a dodgy website feed which freezes every couple of minutes

Setanta are contractually obliged to show Holt-Bradley as part of the TR deal and Sky are not interested in foreign fights now. So who else is going to show the fight?

Setanta should have a boxing channel with nothing (obviously) else on it

Say 5 quid a month could secure double the amount of fights on there from everywhere

dont ask too much, it can be blank during the day or better still show repeats of old

fights with wed/fri night fights, german shows, stuff from europe, some amateur shows

and the big shows from the US.

how hard could it be to do?

Setanta Boxing would be brilliant. Can't see it happening tbh, what is more likely is that Setanta will show less and less boxing due to financial problems before eventually closing down. :?

Personally I would love to have seen the Valero fight. Relentless puncher who shows little or no regard to defence :hey

I would have loved to have seen Valero, but does anyone know how good this Pitalau fella is? I would much rather see what looks like a competitive LWW unification between Holt and Bradley, than another 1st round blowout by Valero (maybe I'm doing Pitalau an injustice, but I honestly don't know how good he is).

Of course, ideally, I'd like to see them all.
