The reason why they haven't fought is because of Wlad being injured (they were supposed to fight last Sept) and Wlad electing to fight Chambers first. Povetkin is ready ... he was a World Amateur Champion ... and is due for a title shot in under 20 fights. This guy is good - he has good rhythm and he knows how to fight. If you noticed ... the Klitschko don't do well against boxers ... the fair better against guys who come at them so they can batter them all fight. Povetkin is going to make Wlad work, wear him down and possibly knock him out.

This fight is going to be about boxing.

Agreed. If anyone is ducking it's Povetkin.

I'm one of the biggest Wlad supporters out there but i'm 100% Povetkin has the goods.

He has some good talent, but also some big weaknesses.

His physical shortcomings are too obvious for him to have a chance against neither brother. His time may come when they retire. He's young.

Did you forget that the fight was scheduled for Dec 13th 2008 on HBO and Povetkin stepped on a tree root (yes that was the excuse) injuring his foot? Rahman stepped in on like 2 weeks notice? Povetkin is the one causing this fiasco he should have been stripped of his #1 contender status by now by the IBF.
