Yeah but we saw how easy it is to nullify his pressure game with Wlad, if Wilder can do something similar (which he should as he'll for sure watch the tapes) then that's no longer such a problem, also Wilder's got faster footspeed than Wlad so he'll be able to retreat back more effectively and prevent Povetkin from bullrushing him.

I dunno, I think Povetkin is a better fighter all in all, more sound boxing skills and all of that but I just think this is a bad styles fight for him, a tall guy with pretty fast feet and loads of power. I don't see this going well for Povetkin at all.

Povetkin is 36, overrated, and a PED suspected cheat. He's truly overrated, lmao. Bum!

It wasn't easy for Wlad at all. He had to resort to illegal tactics to stop Povetkin from getting inside. And Wilder doesn't have the strength or the clinching skills Wlad has.

It was easy. Block head tried to get inside and Wlad just jabbed and threw his ass all over the place. Povetkins face after the fight looked like mincemeat.

Not really, all Wlad had to do is time his clinch with Povetkin's rush and he cut off any space for Povetkin completely time and time again, and Povetkin couldn't adjust at all he kept doing the same **** all night. I don't expect Wilder to do it as much as Wlad but he should employ this at least to some level.

The thing is I don't think he'll even have to do it as much as Wlad, Wlad recently has been fighting pretty static but Wilder's got more active footwork he'll jab and move much more.

Me either! Wilder will take way more chances against Povetkin then Wlad did. Povetkin is too short and not enough boxing skills or stamina to get inside on Wilder.

You're confusing footspeed and footwork. Wilder won't be able to move around when he's pressured effectively, not when his opponent is the one who has better footwork. Plus, Wilder is not nearly as strong as Wlad to use the clinching tricks. The only thing Wlad and Wilder have in common is height, so Povetkin's fight with Wlad is kinda irrelevant here.

As it was, Nichols had Wilder on the canvas. That's just HOW bad Wilder's chin is. Pure china.

True but I never thought Povetkin has very intelligent footwork either.

He has enough stamina you clearly didn't watch the Takam fight where Povetkin outlasted and stopped him late.

Well, he pretty much fought every type of differnet styles and I've never seen him had trouble cutting of the ring, so...

Takam couldn't hurt him. Wilder can.
