I had it 117-113. 7-3-2 for Povetkin. A lot of close rounds, but he made it a clear win by pulling out the 11th and 12th.

    117-111.

I expected a 120 scorecard from someone, sounds like the Mexican judge got close with his 119-109 but the other two seemed much more reasonable to me.

Povetkin won it with his workrate, throwing the combos while Chambers seemed determined to answer with counterpunches and didn't fill in the gaps with any other work of note.

115-113, I could see it 116-112 as well. Povetkin in victory proved to be overrated a great deal by some ESB posters.

Not really, Povetkin looked pretty good, but took a few too many shots which he will have to tighten up against Wlad

    117-111

Povetkins win was far one-sided beat down like some suggested, Povetkins performance was far from dominant, he just did a enough to win alot of close rounds.

I think Chambers was underrated more than Povetkin overrated

I don't see too many thinking he can beat Wlad, but it was a clear win

He won a competitive fight no doubt, but I hope this fight knocks a couple people off the Povetkin band waggon, his power was nonexistant tonite.

Did you also thought that it was an embarassing performace by Chambers? He'd better retire! He has like ZERO fighting spirit. he f**ked up for himself and for the audience as well.

Sad because he has/had the talent to beat Povetkin! He just did nothing after round 3 imo.

Povetkin was tired as hell from round 3 on but kept fighting!

Chambers even stunned povetkin slightly a few times (mainly because sasha was so tired) If chambers brutally attacked him he might'ved even nkocked sasha down.

    Just my thoughts!

Any veteran boxing fans would've said that it's gonna be a tricky match and a hard-fought victory, myself included, and I've said that before the fight. But it was hard-fought until the 6th and that was that. Povetkin stepped up the pace like a great boxer and it was over for Fast Eddie.

Povetkin got caught because he met a VERY FAST boxer in Chambers who picked his shot very well. Maybe he has some issues with his defense but if you saw the fight, as it progressed, he really started to read Chambers style as he's a quite intelligent boxer so Eddies efficiency dropped terribly. In the 2nd half of the fight I didn't see any defensive problems. He out-landed Chambers clearly.

Yeah, he got caught a few times in the 3 clear Chambers rounds but HopkinsĀ’ got caught by Taylor in their fight so WTF with that? Getting caught by a fast, undefeated fighter, the best prospect the USA can offer is forbidden or what?

Russian-schooled fighters are rarely impressive unless they perform a KO but they are VERY EFFECTIVE at the same time. As I see most of the public will NEVER understand that. It was a dominant victory except 3 rounds. And it was impressive.
