Should be noted Compubox isn't 100% accurate, sorry to break hearts about it. There's been fights where different punchcount machine, or whatever the hell they are (I have absolutely no clue), have different connect counts. I actually saw shots that connected that weren't picked up on the new "Punches Landed in this Rounds" that HBO put up.

 

and 929 punches thrown is very impressive for a heavyweight. I remember the Sam Soliman/Winky Wright fight where Merchant and Lampley were criticizing Soliman for throwing so many punches because he would tire out. Unfortunately they weren't as aware of Soliman's fighting as I was, that throwing 1000+ punches was the only way for him to be effective against Winky Wright's defense. Although Soliman lost, he fought his fight and it wasn't onesided because of Sam's offense.

 

I voted cant tell. Its possible that he will get his ass kicked by Wlad, but he did do good and his workrate and stamina could pose a problem if he takes him into the later rounds.
