Yes, I just read that Povetkin has been cleared by WADA. Povetkin and Ryabinsky has filed a lawsuit against Wilder, Dibella, etc. for damages, 34.5 million dollars, filed in US Court back in June, also for breach of contract................Wilder will do anything to keep from fighting Povetkin, looks as if Wilder will have to fight Povetkin afterall.............Povetkin was telling the truth!!!

Wilder will now fight his fourth voluntary defense against another bum, yes, Arreola is way over-the-hill and did not have time to train anyway, not to mention the fake fight will be held in Wilder's home town as usual..................Wilder should be stripped ASAP.............

I was wondering why I could not find a post about this, so I posted one myself, only to find that someone else had posted about this, checked the forum before I posted, could not find. Source was legit though, now two sources have had this info.................

Anyone have even more news about this?

It was residual traces. You know this is all WADA's fault by not giving these people enough time to clean off a drug that stays in you a long time. They knew that drug had a long half-life but still pretty much only gave them 3 months to clean up.

Looks as if you are right...............

Can you believe that the WBC has re-ranked Arreola #9 so Wilder can fight him in his fourth voluntary defense?! Anyone else would have been stripped of his title by now.................

The suit is not only about breach of contract, but defamation of character.....................

Yeah, it pretty much is. The ruling says specifically that unless there is new evidence, he is in the clear.

"To summarize, this means that for urinary concentrations of meldonium: below 1 μg/mL, for samples collected on or before 30 September 2016, results management may proceed and a finding of no fault may be made unless there is other evidence indicating use of meldonium on or after 1 January 2016."

I dont understand this. Im not Pro Wilder or Pro Povetkin but on this occasion and at this moment in time why are team Povetkin looking to sue team Wilder? That fight was not guna happen on the night it was scheduled to, or the day after or the week after. Surely team Wilder was guna go back to the US, they wernt guna stick around in Europe for a month or so waiting on Wada and the WBC to make some decisions.

Im convinced team Wilder were happy to pack up bags and get out of the fight they are cherry picking at every available oppertunity, the WBC are dirty as hell and they encourage it as they just want their belts fought for in America and held by an American because that maximises their income.

But at the end of the day it has taken a length of time where Wilder has had to go back home and has trained hard so rather than sitting on his hands waiting for any outcome has arranged another fight which the WBC sanctioned. So the Povetkin fight surely can be rearranged for the next fight.

I dont see what "technically" anybody has done wrong here. The Russians cleared so make the fight next. If they are not happy with the fact Wilder has now moved on he needs to sue the WBC, i cant see what team Wilder has done wrong.

If Wilder is not capable to defeat Arreola, there is no need to speak about him. I think that Arreola will not see the end of 12 round...and after that Povetkin have to be "in the game" again.....

    You don't get it.

New eveidence can be brought against ANYONE IN THE WORLD.

Povetkin is now no more gulity than anyone else.

    In other words, he's cleared.

    Get it now?

Christ in heaven, he never tested dirty. The substance was legal until January.Minute amounts can stay in the fat cells an be released later, and that is what happened. The WBC had some questions, which WADA has now clarifed.

You understand all of this, you just don't WANT to.

He's cleared. WBC has no say in this anymore unless they want the Russians go full Rocchigiani on them.
