DW would always destroy povetkin, and it's a mismatch fellas. You guys are thinking povetkin is on the Aj level or thinking povetkin has equal to Haye speed and power which could upset DW, but povetkin wouldn't ever see the final bell
Washington had the size and length to make it "look" competitive with DW. DW was setting that short right up from the very first round. How many on here (that claim to be fight fans) troll DW so bad ? Because he gets too excited throwing bombs when he knows his opponent is out, completely out on his feet. If you guys weren't impressed with the way DW Trapped Washington then you'll never know what's going on during fights. DW was in against a pretty skilled, huge opponent that made it difficult to land, yet DW set him up perfectly and landed perfect , ending the night. Listening to the announcers and reading through fans non sense one has to wonder how the feck does DW keep winning??? The commentators give rounds to the opponents of DW for nothing, if DW is not pummeling anyone he's "losing" ??? Took dw a fee rounds to figure him out, set the perfect trap, land the perfect shot AND end it. How was he truly losing rounds ? They looked like even rounds to me, until round 4 and obviously 5
Lol gah Wilder's got such poor fundamentals STILL. He's a knockout waiting to happen. Anyone with power and decent timing has a huge chance.
There's literally 2 fighters that could catch dw. Of course Aj and only Haye has the type of power and speed that he could land a Haye maker, unlikely but possible. You guys troll DW so pathetically, I've been reading for MANY YEARS, a ko waiting, anyone with a pulse or power or blah blah blah. DW is legit!!!! Only Aj is superior and even then they definitely can stop each other at any given second
I don't troll Wilder or his fans, I think he's a top heavyweight just not THE heavyweight. I don't think he's a fraud or a hype job either. I've actually defended him in the Povetkin situation, a fight I feel is a toss up. So sure, by looking at my comment you'd think I'm one of those trolls, but check my history.
Washington is big, has good fundamentals but is slow. He's not going to trouble too many people, I don't think. Could be wrong, and he improves. He's not very experienced. Oh, how I wish I could believe you. Wilder's past fights say otherwise though. He's really not that hard to outbox. Of course he was "setting up" the right hand. It's his hail mary punch, and the one good thing about him. Washington was landing more, and cleaner shots, and moving him with the jab. The first 3 were clear as crystal, GW rounds. The 4th was close, though I nudged it to Wilder. Set up a poll and see how many people think Wilder won or drew the first 3 rounds.
I want Wilder to give me a reason to stop bashing him but he just won't let up. Every move he makes makes me dislike him a little bit more. He's been talking a lot but doing very little to back up anything he says.
I forgot about the fight so I didn't watch but I need to watch to score it now, interested. A poll here and people might pick against Wilder just because it's Wilder lol
I guess since I don't really care for Wilder it's not a huge deal for me. I don't pay much attention to him until he's in a decent fight (won't hold my breath).
Parker would be great....though I don't think he has the power Stiverne or even DB. Right now I'd favor AJ/Wlad/Fury & Haye to beat Wilder. Povetkin could cause some problems but Wilder would eventually find his range and likely TKO him.
Quit hating on those that are more successful than you you toothless hick. Maybe if you put down the crack pipe, you'll be able to recognize talent. How many athletes do you know to transfer from team sports to boxing at an advanced age and become very successful at it. Jackass can't you see that the joke is on you.....Wilder is a very successful man. An Olympic medalist. A Heavyweight world titlist. The man has been triumphant at every level of the sports of boxing.
Povetkin by KO but the fight is never happening. Hilarious that Wilder left, than the fight was called off, and the WBC ultimately concluded no fault. Povetkin was innocent. Based on the scientific and medical information the WBC received during its investigation and inquiry processes and on the WADA Notices, it is not possible to ascertain that Mr. Povetkin ingested Meldonium after January 1, 2016. Based on the adverse finding of Mr.’s Povetkin “A” and "B" April 27, 2016 samples, and taking into consideration the detected levels of Meldonium in those samples, the impossibility to scientifically prove that Mr. Povetkin ingested Meldonium after January 1 2016
Wilder being an unproven enigma after what will be his 6th title defense is a cool story. I haven't seen anything like this in the past four decades. You're not my bro though, sorry if I gave you that impression.
