Honestly even this Povetkin for me was the only one who could beat him he wont fight fury so forget that

Who else really stands a chance? no one other then fury

Fury if at 80% is for me the biggest threat. His size and movement would trouble the static Joshua and have him reaching and falling short. Joshua always has the equaliser though, his power always seems to pull him out when he'd struggling.

I think Usyk too would be dangerous for Joshua. I can't help but look at how Savon danced around him during the Olympics and if a small heavy like Povetkin can get to Joshua, surely Usyk can too.

Agree with that 100%. A stylistic nightmare for most of the top guys - he'd trouble Fury and, IMO, he'd beat Wilder.

Lots of people reading into the way Povetkin made AJ look as evidence of how he would look against Wilder - but they are stylistically different fights. Not just that, the advantages Povetkin had over Joshua are all things Joshua is still superior to Wilder at.

Some people also mentioning Povetkin's age - Povetkin's age does not impact his ability to perform at the stages of the fight he looked good in, only his ability to carry that out over the piece. Despite all of this, Joshua still found a way to absorb any meaningful Povetkin punch and land big on a far trickier opponent than Wilder would be.

That's not to say Joshua is without frailty - we all knew before this fight he is not the perfect fighter - but he's still a favourite over everyone but a fit Fury for me.

Povetkin is an old man and off the PEDS... he lacks the stamina, reflexes and power he had in his younger days.

He was never going to win this fight. He continuously caught Joshua flush in the early rounds, but lacks the power nowadays to make it count.

Wilder is the danger man, he has the reach and power to put Joshua to sleep and Hearn knows it, thus the avoidance.

Povetkin didn't look good in his last 3 fights.

Joshuas ponderous performance made Povetkin look good, Joshua got wobbled by the first left hook from Povetkin.

I would pick Wilder to beat him and i think Ortiz would have a good chance.

Joshua is the best in the division .

However he has shown he can be put down and has shown he can be rocked a few times.

This is heavyweight there quite a few guys capable of beating him.

    Whyte, wilder could catch him
Fury if it he can get back to his best is capable of out pointing him

Joe joyce would be he biggest test imo. Size/speed/olympic pedigree etc very similar.

H.fury at some point if he keeps improving, i think he is the future of the division. Great fighter

Agreed. Joshua looked poor tonight, he stood in front of Povetkin too much in the early rounds and was getting punished for it. He did a bit better later on but was still getting caught at times because he wasn't quick enough to react to Povetkin's rushes.

Joshua did show a good chin again though. He got hit flush a lot, which to be honest isn't a good thing.

I think Wilder has a shot as he's fast and rangy to beat Joshua, I think Ortiz is too slow and ponderous to do what Povetkin and Wilder can do to Joshua.
