Can't see Usyk withstanding the bodybuilders massive power myself. Would have to fight a perfect fight against him. Joshua isn't a limited boxer either, a UD sounds a bit optimistic.

Parker fought to survive not to win. It was a cowardly performance from him to give up his belt like he did.

I agree actually, Usyk is by no means the favorite against Joshua. Fighting the perfect fight for 36 minutes against a powerful counter puncher like Joshua is very difficult. Especially since the fight would take place in the UK, so Usyk will have to protect himself, while still maintaining a solid offensive output to win the rounds.

Very difficult indeed! But IF a smaller fighter where to dethrone Joshua, I believe Usyk to be the guy.

If anything it just shows the fact:

    Povetkin>Parker

Parker had much less success against Joshua than Povetkin.

He didn't even dare to risk getting caught by the bulldozer like real man Povetkin did.

    Povetkin has heart, unlike Parker...

Had the fight gone to round 8,Povetkin would have lost a 7/10 round in the 7th....

People can say Joshua was losing the fight but was he actually ? Well not really unless you actually count the first round and are wowed by that.

Joshua was patient and took his time and that helped Povetkin win a few rounds even slightly ahead by some ( i had it even )by round 6 but lets talk facts....

Most of Povetkins shots missed or were blocked, Joshua was not out boxed he was put on the backfoot a bit more and ate a slightly more clear shots from Povetkin until he decided to turn it up in which the fight ended .

Povetkin showed hes a true top 5 fighter no matter where you rank him,and this also puts Joshua as the number one knockout artist of the HW's its no comparison to who Joshua was able to stop compared to Wilders sole relevant Ortiz fight .

Klitchko knocked Joshua down and actually hurt him more then once ,landed more shots and power shots and out jabbed Joshua.

Theres NO way Povetkin did better then Klitchko...come on now.....smh!

Povetkin did better against a more experienced Joshua ..yes but to say Povetkin did better then Wlad is not reality...not remotely. lol

On the flip side Povetkin couldn't get better prep for this fight and Joshua had the wrong sparring partners and still seemed to coast here.

Povekin's style is a young man's style. You cannot execute that style at 39 years old for the whole fight

He went out on his shield, not his sword.

His sword wasn't big enough to carry him.

But he got destroyed and if he continues, he'll get destroyed again. I hope he stays around for that to happen.

Lets get Ortiz vs. Povetkin , winner would be a good chance to get another crack at the belts. Much respect to both them for putting in better efforts than most against the aj/wilder.

Parkers technique and quality of punching is very poor, he is a boxer who has actually regressed with every fight. His performance against Whytte was even more uninspiring.

Seriously, Parker needs to get more credit for his balance between aggression and defense/movement.

In the first 6 rounds Parker landed more shots against Joshua than Povetkin did - his average punch count for the first 6 rounds was higher than the most punches Povetkin threw in any single round in his entire fight.
