since his loss on Saturday night, delboy has been doing even more things in the gym Haye has NEVER SEEN HIM DO BEFORE. Chisora is ready, make no mistake.
I'd love Fury to fight Whyte. It's one of the best fights out there for Fury IMO because stylistically it's an easy night for Fury. Although it's not as rewarding as it was since Whyte was KO'd by Povetkin. However, is Fury/Whyte not a nightmare to make with the networks etc? Would Hearn not be the first person to tell you the fight has to be on sky box office?
Totally agree, was about to post something along the same lines. If he turned down 250,000 to fight Dubois that is incredible! A journeyman boxer, who has never even won an area or English title, turning down a quarter of a million pounds for a domestic level fight. That's unheard of, truly bizarre. Don't get me wrong, I think Dubois would totally annihilate him but still....he has done that to all of his low level opponents who have signed to fight him for a fraction of that. It does make you wonder, what sort of money did he get for the Browne and Price fights? Surely could not have been close to that... Any chance he get's Dave can't wait to tell the world he fought Ortiz for 8000 or whatever it was, and then turns down 250,000 to fight Dubois who is technically still a untested prospect (until he fights and beats Joyce).
I know that and I wasn't comparing Whyte's punching power with Fury's. I was comparing Whyte's with Kabayel's and the evidence suggests that Whyte is by far the harder puncher. Neither has much of a chance against Fury on the evidence but Whyte has more power and a decent left hook and that gives him an outside chance of landing a KD punch at least.
They’re working together for Joshua vs Fury so why not do a trail run first? It’s not so far fetched.
Fury won't take on someone as good as Whyte considering the cash out fight against AJ is apparently lined up for next year. I mean the last time Fury fought somone of Whyte's quality or better was 5 years ago. I was hoping for Hunter but I don't think anyone is going to pick such a tough opponent who is unknown to general public. I would of preferred Rivas to Kabayel and Rivas is hard puncher and will obviously test Furys suspect chin. I would even say Takam would cause Fury more problems stylistically than Kabayel. That said Kabayel is still a respectable opponent despite avoiding Joyce.
