Hilarious - AJ isn’t a ‘cash out’ fight - it’s a legacy defining fight for either and the biggest fight in UK boxing for years.

I know you’ll autistically bang on about ‘resumes’ to counter this - but it’s very difficult to argue legitimately that Whyte is ‘better’ than Wilder when Wilder only has 1 loss and has been a champion for years whereas Whyte hasn’t.

Obviously they’re not going to pick Hunter for reasons you mention - both BT and Sky will want to protect the AJ fight. They wouldn’t put Fury or Joshua in with a dangerous opponent unless they had no choice.

Suspect chin? He’s never been KO’d and won every fight he was knocked down in.

I wish you’d be a bit more objective about Fury. It’s clear you hate him and are desperate for him to lose.

 

It's funny how Rivas is highly rated on here due to scraping home against a well past it Bryant Jennings. He looked awful against Herve Hubeaux before that but people conveniently ignore that.

I guess some people will do anything on here to try and talk up Whyte's overrated resume.

 

I think Whyte would beat eveyone on Wilder's poor resume. It's easy to go undefeated fighting the likes of Ortiz, Stiverne, Spzilka, Washington and earning a title by fighting Jason Gavern compared to fighting AJ, Parker, Povetkin, Rivas and Chisora.

Fury has been dropped mutiple times including by Wilder, Cunningham, Pjakic and has been hury by Flirtha. Being dropped and hurt by such low level opponents raises questions.

 

That Pedvetkin punch appears to have taken all fight out of both of them along with Pudding Whyte's Lineal Pudding Title.

Would you say hand on heart that Whyte would beat Wilder though? I definitely wouldn’t. The only fighters I’d favour to beat Wilder (pre-Fury 2) would be Fury and possibly Joshua.

It comes down to your definition of ‘chin’ - to me, to be dropped and then go on to win the fight doesn’t indicate a poor chin at all. Then there’s the Wilder KD which displayed immense powers of recovery. Also, lots of those KD’s were when Fury was quite an immature and reckless fighter.

 

Agreed. Of course at HW anyone can get KO’d at any time - but I definitely wouldn’t describe Fury as ‘chinny’. It’s a strange thing to say about him when he’s never lost.

As a younger fighter he was a bit sloppy - which led to the KDs. He’s tightened up and honed his craft since then. Since Chisora 2 he’s matured as a fighter and is far less sloppy.

Comparing the Fury who fought Cunningham to now is a moot point. His detractors also need to remember that he went pro far earlier than the likes of Joshua. He was learning on the job as a pro for years.

Yes I would. I would favour all of AJ, Fury, Usyk, Hunter, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz, Rivas, Bakole and Yoka against Wilder in a potential fight.

I Wouldnt rule out the possibility of even high euro level fighters such as Chisora, Kayabel, Hrgovic Joyce and Takam beating him (who stylistically are bad match up for him).

Absolutely, i agree.

I don't think it's a debate, Fury has much better recovery powers than AJ.

When AJ gets hit and hurt, he stays hit and hurt for a long time, he needs rounds to recover, where Fury seems to recover almost instantly.
