Povetkin Is Almost Set To Face Rahman Not Holyfield

This is getting ridiculous.

 

This is like going to prison and meeting your bunk mate and he's this hulking seven footer (with an eighth foot down below) and then just before lockdown on your first night they switch you in with a guy who's 6'4" and packing a mere Snickers bar.

there are guys that have 1 or 2 wins in a row over ranked ppl

barret beating tua is probably makes him better than anything the rock or holy have done in the last 5 yrs

 

Why do I bother with the heavyweights?

How is this any better tha Holyfield?? Isnt Holy actually rated higher too? This has Teddy Atlas written all over it.

 

Rahman is the better man at this stage. (although obviously the "at this stage" portion of that can't be stressed enough)

Rahman's most embarrassing moment recently: Slightly wobbled late (and troubled throughout) by the zero-knockout Zuri Lawrence before going on to stop him. Getting whooped by Toney and then ultimately quitting (ultimately leading to the bizarre TKO3-to-NC change in ruling) is right up there. Being dominated and stopped by WK is no shame, as it happens to just about every other contender.

Holyfield's most embarrassing moment recently: Nearly went out on his shield (and was down on the cards) against Sherman ****ing Williams, in his own three round No Contest stopped due to a cut from a butt. Full stop. Sherman ****ing Williams. Struggling with Zuri Lawrence but still beating him is one thing. Losing to Sherman Williams (and make no mistake - Holy was on his way to doing so one way or the other) is another entirely. WAY more of a black mark.

Since 2007/2008 (rough years for both guys), Rahman has come back to knock suckas out in the bottom end of the top 30-40 as expected...letting none out of the 6th round. The wins aren't great and honestly shouldn't have seen him positioned as a #1 contender for Povetkin - but they were a hell of a lot better than late stoppages of old Botha and fat old Nielsen, which is all Holyfield has been able to muster in that same time span (with the humiliation of the Sherman Williams debacle sandwiched between them). Rahman would have had those honky porkers out in less than half the time, guaranteed. :deal


That Holyfield is rated higher by any organization right now is an even bigger joke than either of them getting a world title shot...


...and this is coming from someone who has far more love for the Real Deal (the real version...not...this...) than the Rock (any version).

It pains me to say, Rahman would stop Holyfield today.

 

Rahman probably would stop Holy at this point, but hes 40 pounds heavier now than when he got rocked by Lawrence, and its 4 years later -hard to believe its been that long..really thouh neither guy should be challenging for a title. Then again, Povetkin shouldnt even have a title.

The WBA regular title, all interim titles, WBC Silver and Diamond titles should not be recognized as legitimate world titles by boxing media or indifferent rankings like Boxrec or the Ring. Thats the only way all this bull**** will end. Nobody recognizes Holys WBF title, and the same should go for Povetkins WBA regular belt

but fighting dimitrenko, ustinov, solis, haye will be greater
