for someone who seems so clued up I find it incredible how he could switch his position so much,to be honest he looks like he's developed a drug habit in between first vid and the last, the sun glasses are a dead give away?

He probably should be, but he violated no rules, and sadly seems genuine in his assessment, that's his opinion as mind numbingly goofy as it may be, so the thread stays up.

I agree. I think the only 90s heavyweight he would have problems with is Lewis.

If by Tyson, you mean Judd Trump then yes Povetkin is a bigger and better version. That being said Povetkin's cue action is so compact he can pack himself into a box and post himself to Bolivian. How many 147's has Povetkin had in all his fights? How many times has Trump been busted for PEDs. Exactly!!!!

The fact a washed up Tyson was "ranked" as a top tier fighter in the early 00's also says a lot about that so called excellent era.

    Actually, wait a second.

Povetkin would have destroyed Kevin McBride Tyson, if you want to get nitpicky.

said a guy who is trying to defend Povetkin being ranked as number 1 contender at the age of 37 year old who in comparison to a 35 year old tyson when he was ranked as higly, has yet to win a title fight.

On top of noone claiming 2002 was some great era, can you actually post a more self destructive post that the one you just offered?

Tyson went 9-5-0-2 post prison he was 29 when he restarted his career and fed on two of the weakest champions in Bruno and Seldon.

The fact he was a top 10 ranked opponent just shows how overrated the era was.
