If by Tyson, you mean Judd Trump then yes Povetkin is a bigger and better version. That being said Povetkin's cue action is so compact he can pack himself into a box and post himself to Bolivian. On top of noone claiming 2002 was some great era, can you actually post a more self destructive post that the one you just offered?

 

Tyson went 9-5-0-2 post prison he was 29 when he restarted his career and fed on two of the weakest champions in Bruno and Seldon.

The fact he was a top 10 ranked opponent just shows how overrated the era was.
