They shouldn't train him boxing-wise but to get him inside to show him the fine art of takedowns and grappling...it might help him with Wald's clinch-fest...

actually training with a guy as tall as schilt wouldbe quite helpfull..since schilt uses his kicks to keep the distance , sparring with a guy like that would make the exercice even more difficult. (you have almost twice as much distance in kickboxing).

so povetkin would be confronted to the worst scenario.

I think that Povetkin can grab a UD if his chin can handle it.
No one is giving him a chance but his workrate is phenomenal and i think he can make the difference and win on points.

I imagine "sparring" with a strong wrestler or even a decent grappler might help simply because it will help Povetkin do damage during clinches if he's able to get inside.

It dosen't matter wh0 he spars with, he's not ready for a fight with Wlad, and he's gonna get an ass whuppin, i'll be somewhat surprised if AP hears the final bell.

 

although povetkins a big underdog, i think his activity will give wlad problems. it's not outside the realm of possibility that the big guy can gas. povetkin just has to work on nullifying that jab.

all great jabs have been nullified by SOMEONE in throughout there use. if Povetkin can find a way to nullify Wlads it will go a very long way towards him winning. I highly doubt it will happen but its a possibility
