Povetkin is he other Jerry Quarry or is a Duane Bobick?

Considering the HW's suck this era (a few withstanding), he's nothing like Quarry... Fights nothing like em eiter... I don't know who Bobick is...sorry.

Povetkin wishes he was Jerry Quarry. That dude knew what he was doing in the ring. Jerry was another guy who probably could have spent more time in the gym, but his mastery of the manly art of self defense makes Povetkin look like a novice.Quarry was mostly under 200 pounds beating big guys like Buster Mathis, Mac Foster, Ron Lyle , and Earnie Shavers, while Povetkin struggles with ordinary Eddie Chambers.
Probably ANYBODY is better than Duane Bobick, including the pasty, chubby Povetkin.

 

Way to soon to know for sure, me personally I don't see anything special about him but hey Sam Peter is my fav fighter so go figure

Povetkin is a bit like Quarry, except he's bigger and hit harder.

Didn't Quarry struggle with guys like Patterson, and Ellis? I think so, and they were somewhat similar to Chambers in terms of speed, skills, and size.

 

Comparing Povetkin to Quarry is an insult to Jerry, but he's definitely better than Duane Bobick. Bobick had maybe the worst chin of any top 10 heavyweight contender ever.
