Who knows until we see him, but in the cover story he says he has dropped weight while adding muscle, and is learning a new style under Teddy Atlas. If it is true, maybe Teddy has been the kick in the ass he needed.
Povetking is doing the right thing by taking a tune-up before facing Wlad with Atlas in his corner. He'd probably be smart if he squeezes atleast one more in while Wlad deals with Chambers. Povetkin has been too inactive in the last year or two but if he gets some rounds in with Atlas as his trainer and they end up being a good fit then Povetkin could be a very good heavyweight but I still don't see him beating Wlad.
His defense is surprisingly average. He has great offensive repertoir to hang in there but lacks the power to bother the Klits. Hes good enough technically to steal a decision.
meh, ive seen povetkin fights and im not all that impressed. he's got average skills, i dont see him giving either klitschko a hard fight.
He should drop weight someone of his build should be fighting at around 220 if they want to be at their best. He's gotten way to heavy his last few fights. But I really dont think he is that naturally gifted.
