Povetkin is the real number 2 in HW

Yep! Since then he has conquered three very decent scalps:Charr,Takam,and now Perez.
The best one of these three abovementioned names is probably Takam,but even Perez and Charr are better than almost all names on Wilder's or Fury's fight record.

 

Wladimir fanboys which that was the case but it is not.

Everyone ranks Wladimir #1 and anyone with a worthy opinion ranks Povetkin #2 (and never had Haye or Pulevs' ass ahead of him in the first place in years past, as they never deserved it).

 

I dont know,mate! Pulev had had a pretty decent and impressive fight record before he was beaten by Wlad.
Maybe at that time he deserved to be ranked ahead of Povetkin.

 

In the worst shape of his life he still won the fight.

 

He should be #1 and the current HW Champ as anyboy who has watched the sport long enough knows Wlad deserved a DQ LOSS 100% in their fight.

I'd be interested to see who'd win a fight between pulev and povetkin, or povetkin vs fury. hopefully after vlad vs fury one of these fights can be arranged.

Was a close fight... I had Povetkin winning as did many other people at the time.

You really think Povetkin from last night wouldn't beat Huck? He's definitely found his hunger for the game after that defeat to Wlad, is a different animal now.

 

He is currently the #2 heavyweight.

And the #3 heavyweight since 2006 (below Wlad and Vitali, above Haye and Chagaev).
