Olympic lifts will help with speed and explosive power, bench press is more maximal strength, can help but past a point (approx. 1.5 times bodyweight) it can also become negative. Rahman is a huge bencher and we saw him slow down a lot towards end of his career. For maximum speed and explosive strength Olympic lifts are king.
Hardly impressive numbers, especially for a professional sportsman. He's not even cleaning his own bodyweight and Wlad benches abut 400lbs so even if bench press was a good measure of strength, which it is not, he'll still be over powered by Wlad.
Wlad doesnt bench 400 Pounds Look at his frame. looong arms and a tall body, doesnt do good for a big bench press...Wlad probably Works out with around 265 Pounds at most. Also working for explosiveness. Theres to many ways to get injured benching 400 Pounds, must be Chef WHO has been telling great stories.... Oh didnt Chef claim he could bench something like 450 Pounds or so...Dont believe numbers like that:deal
that fury video is embarrisng, has no natural technique in the slightest. His boxing acheivments come from basic skill and a huge height advantage.

Hate to break it to you but that wasn't 315 on the bench those plates are not 45 pounds...... he did clean 225 though.
