Taken is a Very tough sob. but joshua doesnt use his jab at all and is slow and he has to improve his stamina. His balance is really Bad.
Wilder vs aj is a 50/50 fight.
If Wilder strikes first he will win.
Povetkin Would Walk through joshua and Wilder with ease. He is better in every Department by far just smaller

I did think this tonight. Povetkin is getting on a bit now, but assuming he is still operating somewhere near his best, I think he'd have a real chance against Joshua.

Takam just wasn't quite good enough to make the opportunities that were there count, Povetkin probably is.

He knocks out Wilder but loses to Joshua by UD. 41 year old Wlad would beat any version of Povetkin as well. Povetkin struggled with Takam much worse than Josh just did.

    styles make fights
    povetkin beat takam
    klitchko beat povetkin
    AJ beat klitchko and takam
all 4 fighters bring different things to the table

Povetkin would be a tough opponent but walk through AJ with ease lol. Based on what their performances against Takam?

Joshua handled Takam far more easily than Parker or Povetkin. Joshua lost 2 rounds on all 3 judges scorecards. Povetkin lost double that from just 1 judges scorecard, lol.

Maybe, but Povetkin would have to KO his drug test first to get his shot.

Povetkin is very durable, but I see him taking a pounding for 12 rounds against Wilder and losing a decision.

Against Joshua I can see Povetkin winning by stoppage because of Joshua's stamina and limited ring experience. Joshua's team really needs to do something about managing his weight, since his stamina isn't going to cut against the better guys in the division. Several times against Takam Joshua was breathing heavy with his hands down. It wasn't from anything Takam did, but more so from that excess muscle he's carrying around.

Yes I noticed that also, his weight increasing fight on fight is harming his game. Compare his speed tonight with the speed he showed back in his Olympic fights.. when he was what 230lbs?.

Exactly voice of reason here,my biggest memory of Povetkin is being thrown round the ring like a rag doll, not something I liked at the time or now but I guess Wlad thought him a threat in boxing terms so he did his own brand of Andre Wards spoil n win tactics.
michael Montero talking about the 6"5 opponent Andrade had and he said quite often its those that are smaller that can cause probs esp if like AJ he'd been preparing for a tall guy in Pulev.
It was a poor stoppage for sure but I'm quite sure he'd of lost and would of probably been dropped over the next four rounds.
I just think it was a bad day at the office for AJ and one thing we should all remember inc those who go over the top about him is that he's still green as **** and defo still learning on the job,not seen it yet but I'm disappointed to hear that he wasn't using his jab as against Wlad that was the stand out thing I thought, certainly Johnny Nelson thought he made the mistake of going in there wanting to show the crowd something and it kinda bit him in the ass so he said AJ will defo learn from that too.

Why is it as boxing fans we can see this a mile away and yet his team or maybe it's himself are obsessed with this reputation of being a monster in the gym,we've seen vids of him that look more akin to Britains strongest man than anything boxing related.
Eddie Hearn needs to step in here as he seems all about,so I'm sure that if we can see it then someone as astute as Hearn will of picked up on what fans are saying, his team are doing and how to change it.

Takam won way more rounds against Povetkin than against AJ. And Povetkin is getting old. AJ beats the crap out of Povetkin.

Strange how when a guy like Golovkin or AJ has such an impressive KO record all subjectiveness goes out the window,AJ who is as green as Parker is labled as a huge favourite against some stand in opponent whilst Parker who struggled against Takam gets acclaim for fighting a good name to add to his resume?
To put things in perspective I'm just saying that Takam should be a tough, difficult opponent as that's exactly what he is,I think one thing we all know about Takam is that he will always show up and give it 100% on the night.
So for AJ having prepared for Pulev and having an off night whilst still winning rounds and looking for the KO in the last four rounds speaks of his talent I'd say and you just know you'll see a far more determined, better AJ come fight night with Wilder?

I see Pov beating Wilder with constant pressure and taking him out by stoppage

Joshua vs POV; Closer fight than originally thought as Joshua has just shown he’s apparently not the insurmountable force we thought him to be. Takem; the same opponent against both fighters; Joshua couldn’t handle him like Pov did

I am leaning towards Pov to beat Joshua
