Commentary ignored all the bodywork Povetkin did against Whyte early doors

    He was boxing pretty welll

Then Whyte just had to touch him and he was down and basically saved by the bell.

He was 224 for the first fight which is just a quarter of a pound more than he weighed for his pro debut but his weight has fluctuated between 219 to to 232. He was 229 for Price and I reckon he's around that range there.

He looked impressive on the pads last time but when he got in the ring the decline was more noticeable than it's ever been

I think with the right fight plan, Whyte would need to be pretty unlucky to lose, yes. But with a bit of luck he will get it wrong

I agree but I don’t think he and his current team have that right fight plan. Povetkin is looking older and slower for sure. If whyte can drop povetkin early and somehow finish him without getting tagged this time then I wouldn’t be surprised.

this rematch is still in the balance for me right now. Povetkin will always have whytes number but I just don’t know how much covid has affected him

I thought the same. Povetkin seemed to out-body-snatch the body-snatcher, at least in the first two rounds.

Povetkin is refreshing because he gets by with brains more than brawn and his technique is fantastic. I would like to see him put Whyte to sleep again, but he has been hanging on by a thread for many years now. I'll take Whyte but I'm rooting for "Sasha".

What's interesting is this is the first rematch of Whyte's career

The more intelligent boxer tends to bring some more tricks in rematches, I suspect that may be Povetkin.

Both men are pretty stuck with the way they fight though.

Whyte basically hid behind his high guard for most of their first bout waiting to explode out.

I can see Pov cracking Whyte's cantalope head again.
