Povetkin may face Chisora or Price (!!!!) on AJ-Parker undercard

It’s an insult to Povetkin honestly. Price is done and Chisora is fading fast. I know Pov is 38 but I don’t think he’s fading just yet. He’s still streaking since the Wlad debacle.

 

Pov is WBA mandatory, this is pretty much future promoting between the 2.
I expect AJ to rematch Parker or face Pov anyways later this year.

 

I thought the underrated Pole had the beating of him had it been an 8-10 rounder instead of 6.

 

So would a Takam rematch, no?

 

Somebody said in a thread a while ago. Price needs to stop trying to go rounds. He is a 3 round fighter. Fight like it.
He still has his right hand.

 

Hopefully it's Chisora. Povektin can get some credit for knocking Chisora out. However Ud'ing Chisora or knocking out Price doesn't do much for him except keep him busy.

 

I can see why he would opt to be on the card but logistically I'm not sure how easy it'll be. Sign me up if it's against Price, always happy to see him tumble.

 

That's a pair of potential **** fights.

Povetkin should be clearing out guys like Miller, Pulev, Bellew, Fujimoto, Zhang etc. Chisora and Price aren't top ten fighters, **** them.

 

Not interested in Povetkin/Price, he'd KO Price without much difficulty, but Chisora would be entertaining, though Povetkin would win.

The fight makes sense if they are trying to build a potential Joshua/Povetkin fight, though I have my doubts about it happening. Would make a great under card fight, Russian TV money would help fund it I guess, would probably only take a couple of mill to secure the fight, the purse bid for Povetkin/Stiverne was only $3 mill so it's not like Povetkin is making crazy money right now.

 

Price vs Povetkin could be hilarious. How on earth will Big Dave convince himself he has a chance? Or will he just fold again and tell himself it's fine as Povetkin is a 'drug cheat'.

 

Don't see Povetkin fighting on the undercard and especially against Price but part of me wants to see Price against Povetkin for entertainment value.

 

Don't see the point of Povetkin vs either of them really, unless as some have already stated, they're building up an AJ / Pov clash. They're below his level, I think, and clearly so.

Still wouldn't mind seeing Sasha putting them to bed with milk and cookies.

 

Not a chance in hell Povetkin fights the plumber. Not a chance in hell.

Eddie would never make that match because the outcome is so inevitable and moreover, the plumber won't step in with Povetkin because of the failed tests.

 

Why would povetkin fight on a aj undercard his promoter is a billionaire and when he has to fight povetkin that's going to Russia hearn can't out bid a billionaire and it will be great to see aj out of his depth in Russia where he will not be treat like the greatest fighter ever 100% his mentally weak
