The thing is if Povetkin did put in some kind of mega bid then Joshua would definitely vacate. Why on earth would he go to Russia when all of his fans would say it was fine for him to reject Povetkin - now seen internationally as an aging drugs cheat - as a contender should they try to force him to go to Moscow.

If he genuinely wants to fight Joshua rather than for a belt then he's going to have to travel.

I don't like Povetkin's insistence that people come to Russia tbh. He has a billionaire friend so acts like a *****. If he fancies the job against Joshua you'd think he'd think he could beat him anywhere.

 

IMO he could beat aj but I would like to see an have to go an opponents home because I think his mentally weak and will crumble when he doesn't have everyone in his favor

 

I'd like to see Joshua on the road - going to the corrupt state of Russia is a bit much to ask though! Povetkin is even more spoilt than Joshua.
