Teddy Atlas is an obnoxious douche who loves the limelight. I don’t take him very seriously as a trainer and his whole “motivational” shtick in the corner is just another way Teddy puts himself in the spotlight. It’s always about Teddy. No wonder nobody wants this guy as their trainer.

He was generally disappointed by Povetkin's performance, especially the constant ducking and him not taking the challenge seriously enough and underestimating his opponent significantly. He pointed out that a world champion and exceptional technician like Povetkin should normally be able to find more honourable and more effective ways to avoid punishment and counter against a somewhat limited fighter like Huck than constantly ducking and hoping for the referee to interfere. He said if he was in Povetkins place he would push for a rematch and work hard on his conditioning and game-plan to show the world his true abilities and leave no questions as to who the better man is between the two.
He said Povetkins lack of conditioning and his uninspiring performance justified Hucks decision to move up and challenge the bigger and more accomplished fighter with the benefit of hindsight, a decision he questioned earlier before the fight.
He still thinks Hucks potential to become a force at HW is very opponent-dependent and that he needs to put on more weight if he is seriously considering moving up permanently, but he admitted that it can be done using Evander Holyfield and David Haye as examples and pointing out that Huck still is very young at 27 years.

I don't think so. I remember back when Atlas first started training Povetkin he said he wanted to train him to fight like Tyson. So he would have a better chance of beating the Klitschko's. Atlas has totaly messed up Povetkin by trying to totally change his style of fighting imo.
