It's pretty obvious that he's not getting Wilder for at least 6-8 months, I think he should take a stay busy fight with a tall guy. How is Tony Thompson?

Or Dimitrenko, now that he's back.

Dimitrenko is good stay busy fight, lets see how Sasha can handle a big lumbering guy before stepping in with Wilder

 You're right, but It's just a stay busy fight after all, he needs an opponent without worrying about public reaction.

He already said he will not fight until Wilder clash.

That's not what his manager or promoter (I forget which) said right after the Perez fight ... read the quote on two other sites (not sure if rules allow me to name them, but they're pretty prominent and popular).

Forget his manager's name but promoter is Ryabinsky.
The article I read Povekin said himself that he doesn't plan to fight again until Wilder showdown.

With purse bid scheduled for Oct they should meet in Jan or Feb I assume.

KO1.... Not even a question. I'll be surprised if Dimitrenko lasts a minute.

I think Dimitrenko, Ustinov, and Wach are gunning for this fight.

I'd also like to see Povetkin fight Guillermo Jones and avenge his buddy Lebedev.

But all these fights sound too risky if Povetkin is the mandatory to Wilder.

As a fan I wouldn't mind seeing a Huck rematch or Chagaev rematch.

The best fight would be in order:
    Pulev
    Wach
    Dimitrenko

No one of this guys is preparing him for wilder. Their attributes are to different. Huck would be fitting imo. He is fast and has very good power, same like wilder, but he can take a punch. Pulev is like a less Vlad Version with not enough power to really respect him. Wach has the height, the power and a great chin but he is wa too slooooooow.
Besides his next opponent, povetkin will KO wilder without a Problem. Povetkin vs chagaev 2 and vs Huck 2 would be great fights

I don't think so. Fury and Pulev are the only ones who'd give current Sasha any serious problems.

It is a good idea if he wants to maximize his TIE ratios while flying under OSDTA standards of 4:1.

This way wouldnt be challenged by any potential opponents to test, and thus have to cycle off.

If he were to fight it would have to be against a no name vet liek Mike Sheppard or Ty Cobb, someone who'll be happy to get their 30K and gets KOd 1-4 rds.:thumbsup

So hopefully the WBC is not as inconsequent with the Heavy Weight Mandatory like they are with the Middle Weight Mandatory... it wcould take him years until he gets his shot.. ask GGG!!! :deal
