Povetkin , overhyped or not , wlad is in danger..

Wlad will win by brutal KO. Yesterday Povetkin was in trouble against Chris Byrd. He took a punch from Byrd !!! and was in trouble.

Povetkin must work on his skills change the trainer, Povetkin is amateurish and was very tired after 6 rounds against Chris Byrd.

 

I wouldnt talk about his fighter being tired after 6 rounds, I know someone else that happend to alot in his career.

 

Joe Frazier has a better record, but what the hell difference does that make? :huh

 

Let's face it, only Golota has what it takes to take on Wlad. Povetkin looks like a boy.

 

And look at this avatar. Wlad stands with Emanuel Steward and that makes the big difference. Since Wlad is working with Emanuel Steward he learned and he is working on his skills.

Povetkin has no chance against Wlad.

obviously i think wladimir is going to win, but yes i have to admit, povetkin seems to have a combination of things that might cause wladimir some serious discomfort. if povetkin's chin is iron, then wladimir will try and UD him to avoid getting tired.

but! i think povetkin has a solid chin, but not a ATG chin. that combined with the fact he is easy to hit most of the time, will spell doom for him verses that long jab of wlad's. unless povetkin incorporates some seriously good fast head movement and keeps it up constantly, i see wladimir jabbing him before bringing the steelhammer to work in the mid-later rounds.

but ultimately i think the fighter who really will be wladimir's biggest test is ruslan chagaev. personally he seems more better than povetkin in everyway, and more importantly he has better power than povetkin.

also ruslan really knows how to move when he needs to against a bigger guy. povetkin i think will try to do his "casual walk-in" approach to fighters. what i mean is he seems content to walk to his opponent with a high-ish guard and his chin tucked in. maybe he is lazy but with a guy like wladimir who can float around the ring pretty well, he will become a sitting duck and get ko'ed.

chagaev might stand a better chance simply because he will try to slip punches and move to avoid wladimir setting up.

but at the end of the day i really feel wladimir will retire without any more losses. unless he intends to fight for another 6-7 years, then i can see him losing. but since i reckon he'll only be around another 4-5 years max, he could retire with an unbroken winning streak while (hopefully) the unfied champ.

Peter didnt dare to cross Povetkin's shadow at the amateurs.Peter was a nobody who was stopped and kicked out of the last olympic tournament by Paolo Vidoz.
The clumsy African fighter would probably not be able to last the distance with Povetkin.

 

I really wish people would cut down the hype and see him for what he is. The stronger the hate will be when he gets his first loss.
